Hi, I want to set up an ez 4.0 based web site that needs the following set-up: Every directory has it's own country-language combination. Has some general content in it's language, but also some unique local content. Directories are not just translated copies.
/global/ (global/uk-english)
/nl-nl/ (netherlands/dutch)
/be-nl/ (belgium/dutch)
/be-fr/ (belgium/french)
/br-pt/ (brasil/portugese)
/ru-ru/ (russia/russian)
etc... / is just a pointer to /global/ What is the best way to set this up in EZ 4.0?
I did the following:
Standard install with the ezwebin packages.
I renamed eng-GB to global to start with. French is already in the standard install.
For every localization I want to create a special siteaccess.
Is this the best way to go? (Now I run into the problem of non-translated (french) pages showing up in the default language. This is not the behaviour I want. No translation should be no page) Or should I leave the different siteaccesses idea and just create different directories? I'm really stuck here, so any help would be really appreciated! :)
