Need help with Camtasia flash videos

Hello,

I'm having trouble setting up flash videos I created with Camtasia. I am able to display the flash videos(swf) that I have created, but they lack the function bar that allows the user to pause, play, etc. The videos are used for training and so pausing and rewinding are important functions of them. I may just be making it harder than it really is, but I can't seem to figure it out. What I have been doing is creating folders for each video and in each folder I place all of the files corresponding to the video in the related objects section. I then create a link to the html file for the video. This isn't working.

Instead of placing the files in the related objects section do I need to place them in the Sub items section of the specific folder?

Thanks

Heath

This is a interesting idea. One which (without references on hand atm) has been covered before in passing conversations.

I think the simplest solution depends on the unique consistencies your situation provides.

- If your control files are always the same
- If your display html is mostly always the same
- If your flash/video content is always unique

You should be able to build a custom template override to fetch the information required (control flash files stored in content tree / media tree), output the required html with your unique video.

The template would be mostly static (in this way) yet still would flexibly and simply provide for your needs ... I think (non binding :) at a glance without having touched the subject in sometime).

Make sure that your Production Settings are NOT Legacy SWF...

This removes the Player bar.
