Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to keep the same mail address for different user accounts ?
In some cases, a same person has to be registrered in differents user groups, but now, it is impossible to keep the same Firt and last name and the same mail address.

Pascal,

To put users in different user groups, you should use the additional node locations for a specific user.

Hi Paul,

Of course, I can put a same user in differents user groups but then you are face with some small inconveniences.
I'm the administrator of my system and I would like to be registered in differents user groups. But as I am the administrator, I have all the rights so I see everything in all groups. And I would like to see only objects that are in the section assigned with the user group I belong to.

If you have 10 user groups, each one assigned to a specific section and if you have a same user in all groups, when this user will be logged in he will see the objects of all groups !
That is the problem.

I think it should be able to create several users with the same First&Last name, with the same mail address and the same password. Only the user name (login) must be unique.

Regards

Pascal

In Site.ini I found the following setting:

# Controls whether a unique email is required for all users,
# if set to true and email is set in AuthenticateMatch then only
# one email address instance is allowed on the site.
# Set to false to disable it
RequireUniqueEmail=true

Perhaps setting this to false will help you out?

You can use a seperate personal account beside your admin account.
