i still don't have found a solution about it, but i've noticed a thing and i hope it helps you to help me :)
as you remember my problem is that new forum topics are not published if the author is different than the administrator user (i.e. a guest user). I agree, it's strange but that's the behavior! the guest role and the admin role are both the same!
i opened the ezcontentobject table and i saw that: the new forum topics are EVER stored (when you press "new topic") either if wrote by the administrator or another user. anyway when the Administrator presses the "send" button the new topic is edited and published, while for the guest user the new topic isn't edited and published. the db records look like follows:
