Hello,

is it possible with only one installation to make 40 or 50 websites with:
- same design but only a different logo for each site?
- one "webmaster" for each website that can modify only his part?
- possibity on first index page to redirect to each sites?
- one "administrator" that can modify all the websites?
- stats for each website & for all websites?

Hello and welcome to eZ Publish Community!

- same design but only a different logo for each site?
- one "webmaster" for each website that can modify only his part?
- possibity on first index page to redirect to each sites?
- one "administrator" that can modify all the websites?

Everything above is possible with eZ Publish without special effort.

- stats for each website & for all websites?

Depends what kind of stats and complex. There is a plenty of stats software out there so also possible with 3rd party.

I installed EzPublish on my WAMP.
I made a copy of \settings\siteaccess\ezwebin_site that i renamed site2.
I modified site.ini.php on "site2"
when i try to see my site2 (http://127.0.0.1/ezpublish-4.0.0/index.php/site2) i see:

Error / kernel (20)
Module not found

making multiples sites with one installation is not so easy....

You need to activate the siteaccess (look in settings/override/site.ini.* ), also ezwebin_site is not the site access you should copy. If you installed english language, then there should be a siteacces there called 'eng' and so on. If you are not sure what the name of your default siteaccess is, look for "DefaultAccess" setting in settings/override/site.ini.*

If the every sites will have a different domain you will need to use "Hostname as "Access method":

http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_0/concepts_and_basics/configuration/access_methods

If you want that the content is in a different database you can configure ez publish to use a specific database for every siteaccess (site).

Just curious if having 50 or more sites in one ez publish installation could affect performance, any comments about this?

In my case, I have a ezp 4 install with 5 specific designs, 20 siteaccess and using around 15 domains to access them... and didn't notice any performance issues... I have some problems with clearning cache from admin area but this is another story...

I'm just testing EZPublish for a future project on my own computer.
Everything's good... I have my two sites but:
- Must I copy "admin" site too? or can i administrate the two sites with the same?
- How to make different content on each site? I have the same content on the two...
