Hi. I have a class, let's call it A, with about 15 attributes. One of this attributes is a relation of objects of another class, call it B. for this other class (B) i have about 40.000 records.
The problem begins when i have to edit an object of A class. I mean, if for this attribute i choose "multiselect options". it takes too long to fill all the 40.000 records in the multiselect option. If i choose select by browsing, it's very tedious for the editor to find the right object in about 800 pages of 50 records each one... Do you know how can i filter the objects to relate? For more information, i can say that A class is a class with information about films, and B class is a class with actors information. So, what i want is to relate films with actors. I wonder if is there any way to let the editors "search" for actors, and then choose the right ones in that search results. so, they won't need to search for actors page by page... Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
