Michael Hall	Monday 28 January 2008 9:58:48 pm Another newbie question. Our eZ publish site has 16 different image "versions" (classes?) defined in the AliasList in image.ini.append.php. Are these versions generated on upload, or on demand? In other words, does a line such as {attribute_view_gui attribute=$object.data_map.image image_class=medium} in a template cause the requested version of the image to be created then and there from the original? Presumably, once the image is created it is stored and re-used? Also, is "Reference" a synonym for "original image"?

Something that only happens if you change the image to another one or specifically clears 'Cache for imagealias' on setup page. "Reference" is the example in image.ini, the idea is that you have several aliases that for instance use grey colour.
