Hello, Naive question: Is it possible to display content that belongs to section A (which uses normally pagelayout_section_A.tpl) to display with another pagelayout (which uses pagelayout_section_B), possibly with a parameter in the URL? Looking at kernel/content/view.php it is not possible without changing the code, but I hope someone proves me wrong. Something similar is possible with siteaccess (as you can do with the preview function in the admin interface), but uses a form element.
The why: In developing a section and template where a user has defined his own structure (a configurabel "my site") we would need this feature. The basic strategy followed is that we define a node tree in a dedicated section which has nodes corresponding to individual users or groups of users (the user node has one related obect which is one if these nodes). These user-related nodes have then a series of related objects which are pointers to the elements a user wants in his page + some "my site" specifics like collaboration messages and style sheets to use. Currently this works OK as some kind of a dynamic "bookmark" page, but we would like to display the content also in the "my site" layout. Any thoughts or solutions? Tx Paul
