Any thoughts as to what might be causing this? When template compile is enabled, Apache and MySQL together chew up 100% CPU for a few minutes, then stop without returning a result to the browser. This happens on every page load.
After clearing cache use template compiler from commadline to compile templates using bin/php/eztc.php with force parameter. Use --help parameter to view available parameters. I have something similiar on one of my servers. If one pass is not enough, try restart and once again use eztc.php. May it help You.
