Hi all, I'm working on a search results page and I'm finding the output lacks context, the standard search results are just links with no descriptive text (as found on Google and most other search engines). I personally find this style of search result practically useless unless I have 6 hours to spare clicking seemingly anonymous links. So my question is has anyone created a google style search results page like the following and if so how did you do it? If not can it be done (and how)? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=site%3Aez.no%2Fcommunity%2Fforum+%24node_id&btnG=Search What I would like is the found word shown in context as google does i.e.
------- Search results for the word "word"
A link to the page that contains the word.
...this is a part of the paragraph that contains the word you searched for on the website...
this is the url of the page. ------- Or would I be better off disregarding the built in search engine and just using a google powered search? Cheers!
Pardon me while I burst into flames...
