I'm trying/learning ezpublish (3.8.8)
What I'm trying is to apply different pagelayout for dif folder/sub section. With the doc available on the site and forum I managed to override a dif pagelayout per class (ex : dvd product from tutorial...). As said, I changed my folder (let's say dvd shop) for it's own section : dvd_section (id 7) (by the way, with type of section should i use ?? content, design ??) the folder disappear from top menu. on doc : The "Standard" section is the default section. The "Content" top level node makes use of this section. So here my question : how you manage to create custom top menu , with folder/sections ??? ( for ex the inra.fr menu ) or just access those folder ! (user interface :-) ) Thks in advance.

Je, Once you create a new section which you want to be visible to all, be sure to add permissions to the roles and policies for anonymous. If you want the folder to be displayed as part of your website hierarchy, you'll want it to be a "content structure" section. I hope that helps.

hi, thks for your (fast) reply. policy isn't quite easy with ezpublish !! so for others newbies like me :
got to user administration, left/bottom : role, select anonymous, click edit, new polity, select content (dropdown module) , with only one function, select "read", restrict access, select the section "test", "ok", "ok" refresh page ! THKS
