This is the first version of robots.design(tm). This is a free, hosted tool, that allows you to submit an image, and a list of color attributes extracted from CSS files. It then maps the image colors into the CSS colors, for example, light blue from the image may replace the light yellow, dark green on the image may replace dark purple in the CSS. The value is that you can take a design comp and quickly translate it through an existing sitestyle to change it, or a screenshot of an existing site and rapidly translate it into a sitestyle. This is truly brute force design. It isn't intended to replace a designer and hand coding, but it could be used to quickly apply most of the colors into a site style. To use it, upload an image, paste in the CSS color attributes, and then, when you click 'Go' - it will generate <b>sed</b> commands that can be applied to the CSS files. http://robots-wizard.com/robots.design eZ publish 4.0, with the Clean Grey site style, with the .css recolored by robots.design. http://ez4.wirehopper.com/ Feedback is welcome, on the concept and code.
