Eliminating root folder in 4.0 after wizard completed

After going through the 4.0 wizard setup, my site doesn't default to the main web name (www.name.com). Instead, it still requires defaulting to the root folder format:

(http://www.example.com/my_site/index.php)

I'd like to eliminate the "my_site" requirement. I think it's a complication with the unpacker tool. How do I switch it now to avoid requiring the root folder?

Thanks,

Rob

Not sure if I understand it right, but it doesn't seem to be eZ problem. You must have pointed your domain (server config) one directory above the eZ root, while it should precisely point at it. There are ways of going around it, but since you're at the installation, I would suggest set it up before even going to installation wizard. That way you will have stable setting files prepared for you.

I have already run the setup wizard. How do I run the setup again? I think there may be a spot on one of the pages where I direct the web site address there? I'm wondering if maybe the documentation root was left on site details page. Would that make a difference?

Hello,

Try changing this or adding to your settings/override/site.ini.append.php

[SiteAccessSettings]
CheckValidity=true

The above is good for version 3.x not sure about 4.0.
