Class, Section, Priority GONE. Can't publish anything. Infecting multiple sites.

Kagen Tres	Friday 16 April 2004 7:24:32 am Somehow though I'm not sure how, one of my ezpublish sites (3.2-4) does not show the Class, Section, or Priority of content objects while logged into the admin interface. Some objects say they're no longer available when I try to edit. Any of the other objects give this error: Location did not validate No main node selected, please select one. To top matter off, I logged into another EZ site this morning to find that it also is showing the exact same problem (3.3-4). I've tried all the obvious and am completely lost as to where to go next. Here is my server configuration: Apache 1.3.29 PHP 4.3.3 Latest MySQL Athlon 2000, 512MB Redhat 9 Ez sites are run in secure vhost mode.

Lazaro Ferreira	Friday 16 April 2004 10:22:48 am Hi, This debug output says that you have problems with permissions, it means EZP can't access the /var/cache/..... dir, so if your are using the cache it should not be functioning OK, please try to fix it, after fixing it, please clear all the cache Everything under var, including itself, should have read/write/execute permission for the web server user and group (may be apache:apache is your using apache) The other problem in your output, is that EZP can't open the translation file at share/translations, is it there ?, can you checked up ?, the permissions all over the site are ok ? I changed site.ini.append to use eng-GB for the translation file. Now I'm getting: "Object is unavailable" when attempting to view the Content area of the admin site (node ID:2).
