The alt tag field only appears after you add the image, store the article and then go and re-edit. So the process for adding an alt tag is as follows.
1. Add image to article
2. Store article
3. Edit article
4. Add Alt tag
5. Store Article. It would be nice if the default Alt tag were a "*" as this would make life easier. Tony
