If I use special characters (for instance é of ") as part of the content in the body of an article then the whole content in the body is gone after I publish the article.Has this something to do with wrong charset settings in some .ini files? If so, which ones?

Doesn't anyone have this problem? As soon as I enter quotes in my text in the body of an article then the whole content is gone after publishing the article.
Don't know were to look.....

Look if the browser uses charset utf-8. On my site there was a <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-15" /> which I changed to utf-8.

My site uses "<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> This is generated bij the templates. Where can I change this so that utf8 is generated? Is this an .ini setting somewhere? Cann't find it.....
In general it looks as if the moment I use a character that is not supported by the used characterset the whole content is lost after publishing it. Can this be checked by eZpublish followed by an errormessage in the editor, so I can adjust the text instead of losing everything?
