Problem with installation of ez 3.8 rc1

normally a few "site packages" should be provided by the eZ publish installer. there are few different "site packages" like gallery-, news-, forum-, intranetsite presented and you can choose the "default" site setup.

if you have installed eZ publish before you should have seen it before...
it works for me with 3.8rc1

i would like to add questions related to the installation of 3.8rc1 -

where is the plain site package? it's not available anymore - but will it be available again??

while the installation of 3.7.x it was possible to choose all the different features of the different site packages after the selection of a package and to add all functionality to one package this way.
will this feature be implemented again?

how can i install the different features of the different site packages after the first installation?

is it possible to download the different site packages from the net and install them later, after the first installation?
whre can i find them?

if i would like to install many (1000&1) plain sites as a default multisite installation with only one eZ publish 3.8 installation, what's the best way to achive this?

I have unpack the file ezpublish-3.8.0rc1-gpl.zip under a new folder of my webserver, next I open a browser and input this url: "http://localhost:8080/newezpublish" and the installation screen appear.
I click next, I choice Outgoing E-mail settings, I click next, I choice the database setting, I click next, I choice a default language, I click next and I receive this message:

I never receive before any type of this message when I install ez 3.6, 3.7 etc.

The main idea of remaking setup wizard is to separate standard packages from eZ publish, so they will be released separately and can be updated automatically from this setup wizard.

Also soon there will be an online package repository on ez.no, where you can download new versions manually, just like you download eZ publish.

There is no more step that allows you to choose additional packages in setup wizard, but you can install them from admin interface later.

Concerning setup of multiple sites - it all remains the same, nothing has been changed.

I think you can manualy donwload the required files from ez.no and then upload then into ezpublish instalation.

After some investigations, I have found where ezPublish downloads the sites definitions.

Until we dont have a official page to download pre-made sites, styles and class definitions from ez.no site, there is my temporary solution. The files needed are the .ezpkg files.
