Martin Kot	Thursday 15 May 2008 12:32:40 am Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to set up multiple sites in one installation directory of eZ. Each site has it's own domain, but might have several site accesses for different languages. I've done this before based on host matching, as outlined in this old document: http://ez.no/ezpublish/documentation/configuration/configuration/tips_tricks/several_sites_with_one_installation Problem with this approach is that each site access requires it's own hostname. Let's say I already have www.example.com/no and www.example.com/en, then I have to use en.example.com and no.example.com. Would it be possible to combine host based matching with uri-matching? I tried this approach before, but couldn't get it to work in eZ 3.9 at least. Any help on how to achieve this is welcome. Please include sample ini-settings if possible. I'm going to upgrade all the current sites to version 4.0.
Andreas Kaiser	Friday 16 May 2008 1:30:23 am I think by default this is not possible in ezp 4 or 3.9.x. In multiple sites with one installation we use host setup, but it's true that a model like: ezp installation: -> site1.com ----> site1.com/eng ----> site2.com/de -> site2.com ----> site2.com/eng ----> site2.com/de is more frequent in the web (logical?) than using subdomains for every language. I guess I'll go with only host-matching then, but I'll try out quickly if something has changed and made it possible to mix and match host and uri. If it's possible, I'll post my response here. Just noticed another thread about the same issue.
