BUG!? Shop redirects wrongly (not to checkout) after user logs in

When I choose 'checkout' the basket view redirects me.
with ezsimple to shop/register and to the confirm and overview
with ezdefault it doesnt.
I get to user/login and then to the page I visited before even viewing my basket.
Clicking AGAIN on basket Im taken to checkout as it should be...
