Access DENIED

Hi,
am just learning to get around in eZ. Somewhere I made a mistake in the admin - and can not figure out exactly what.
I was in "sections" -
tried to get a new section established with sub-folders. It worked, but the subfolders never showed up on the browser page.
I clicked the stupid + icon, and that is where suddenly the mistake happened. Could not find anywhere a undo or reverse. So I deleted the entire section, but still - now I can not access ANY of the pages in browser view:

same with all others [forum etc.]
on top of browser window it says "kernel (1) Error.

Please can anyone help me?
