Hi, my first post here and i'm an account manager rather than an experienced developer so please bear with me.
I have a client that have had a live ecommerce site since February. The webshop was tested extensively before go live - it users no 3rd party validifier such as protx, just the ez webshop.
It has recently come to light that two orders that have been confirmed through the site have not been sent through to the client or processed through the backend. Both orders have been given a reference number of 43 - 0 - 119. The middle number is the one that defines the order in the webshop, ie, we are currently upto order 43 - 210 - 119. I am struggling to replicate the error - apparently there was something similar spotted prior to go live where the kernel was sending out the confirmation mail prior to the final confirmation of order - therefore if the process wasnt completed we had the 3rd party with conf email but no record of transaction. However, the email is now generating correctly, ie when the final 'complete order' button is pressed.
Hoping someone may have seen before.
