The scenario is that the user uploads multiple images beneath a particular node, which eZ Multiupload does very well. If the user wants to manually sort those images, they can change the sort method to "Priority". However, I am trying to figure out the best default "hands-off" approach. Some options: - You can set the default sort method to "Published" (ascending). However, there is a limitation that I think is common across upload dialog boxes from many applications: the user can try to select an order (with a combination of control-clicking each file and click-dragging their mouse to select multiple files at once) but the order in which the files are actually uploaded follows some unknown or non-existent logic. To get around this limitation, the user can upload each file one by one, still realizing some time savings in the multi-upload interface, but becoming very cumbersome the more files you are uploading at once. - You can set the default sort method to "Name" (ascending). Then, before the user uploads their images they can prepend numbering to the file names to determine the sort order. Of course, this affects the name on each created object, and you might not want a number in there. Does anyone know the answer behind the mystery of pre-selecting the order of files in the upload dialog? Or has someone come up with the ideal default approach for letting users order their uploads?
